Toledo REALTOR Magazine – Spring 2017 – NOW Available
Thank you to all those Members who attended the annual REALTOR® Party Spring Fling Roundup held at Shorty’s Back 40. I think it is safe to say that it was one of our most successful REALTOR® Party events to date. We are so thankful to everyone for attending and for showing your support for TRARPAC.
Locally, we have some vital issues currently under discussion. Northwest Ohio leaders are continuing to encourage local communities to create a Joint Water District and also to make sensible changes to the Lead Safe Residential Housing Ordinance. The TRARPAC Committee and I would like to thank Representative Derek Merrin for helping address these two issues at the State level. His work is immeasurable in the success of these changes.
This month, a few Board of Directors and I will be traveling to Washington D.C. to meet with our Federally elected officials to discuss many issues currently impacting the real estate industry. I would like to personally invite you to our upcoming Legislative Breakfast on May 31, 2017 at the Pinnacle in Maumee. I will be reporting back to you on all of the issues and we will be welcoming a panel of distinguished local officials who are also REALTORS®. Please see page eight of this magazine to learn more about the event.
Please pay special attention to the important elections including the mayoral race for the City of Toledo. Residents of Toledo will also be electing 6 at-large council seats in addition to numerous community elections. Please invest in RPAC at a level that is significant to you to help us support REALTOR and business friendly candidates, email@example.com.
