Local Market Update – October 2015
October sales of single-family homes in Lucas and Upper Wood County reported by the Toledo Regional Association of REALTORS® totaled 468. This was a decrease of 9% compared to October of 2014, and a decrease of 5% compared to the previous month. Sales volume generated by October activity totaled $61 million, which was unchanged from 2014. The median sales price was $110,000 (up 19% compared to October 2014), and the average sales price was $133,946 (an increase of 11% compared to last October). 688 listings were added to the system in October, which was down 4% from last October’s 719, and down 3% from last month. Inventory of single-family listings showed 3,680 available at month’s end which represented a supply of 8.1 months which is up 5% from October of 2014 and up 5% from the previous month.
