Describe current and past community involvement: Mary Jo has served as chairperson for DiSalle/Hospice of Northwest Ohio Golf Outing for 16 years which earned the 2017 TRAR Community Service Award. She has chaired the Metamora Park-O-Rama 5K for four years and has sponsored and organized a Holiday Shopping trip for 13 years. She is also an active member of Holy Trinity Parish.
Financial Oversight Experience: She has handled billing, commissions, utilities, 1099’s, W2, balancing books, etc for DiSalle Real Estate since 1999. She maintains her own personal real estate business and family business of Fischer Apiary
Government Affairs Experience: She actively attends town hall meetings and township meetings.
Communications Experience: Mary Jo actively speaks to groups about the Hospice Golf Outing, handles customer service at DiSalle and is active with social media postings.
Strategic Planning Experience: She works alongside her broker to plan goals, make new marketing plans, and budget planning.
Technology Experience: She works as the IT person for DiSalle including computer maintenance, networking and device management. She is currently working on co-developing a billing system.
Real Estate Trends Experience: As a social media participant she uses a multitude of apps to enhance her business.
Leadership Experience: She is a chairperson for many organizations/events, was the 2017 recipient of the TRAR Community Service Award, Manager of Staff at DiSalle, Manager of agents at DiSalle, and Broker for DiSalle Michigan.
Why does Mary Jo wish to be a Director: Mary Jo feels it is her time to get involved and learn more about how TRAR works and help make decisions that will make the industry even better. She has many years of experience and her ability to work well with others will be an asset to the Board of Directors.
